What NavaCup stands for

The NavaCup is the annual golf tournament organized by NavaCup Charity Events. The purpose and focus of this event are to raise funds to bridge the digital divide among Canada's youth.

All proceeds from the tournament go towards purchasing brand-new laptop computers, which are awarded to deserving students within Greater Toronto Area communities.

Through our efforts and those of our donors, we aim to address the ever-widening digital divide that has been overlooked by the public and private sectors for far too long.

Our Core Value

The NavaCup initiative provides computers to primarily (but not restricted to) BIPOC at-risk youth, regardless of gender or religious views. We believe technology is a right, not a privilege.

Why It Matters

The problem we're solving

In a world where education, employment, and social connection increasingly depend on digital access, millions of Canadian youth are being left behind. The digital divide is not just about internet speed — it's about the fundamental tools students need to participate in the modern world.

Students without laptops can't complete assignments at home, can't access online learning resources, and can't develop the technical skills that modern employers demand. The gap between the digitally connected and the disconnected widens every year.

NavaCup bridges that gap. Since 2009, we've raised over $100,000 and awarded more than 400 brand-new laptops to deserving students in the Greater Toronto Area. And we're not done yet.

How We Work

Our three pillars

01

Raise

Through our annual charity golf tournament, we bring together donors, players, and donors to raise funds. Every dollar goes directly to students.

02

Equip

We use every dollar to purchase brand-new laptop computers — not refurbished, not hand-me-downs — giving students the best possible start.

03

Empower

We partner with the Boys and Girls Clubs and the IMAN program at UofT Scarborough to ensure students have mentorship to maximize their technology.
